Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Mechanical Engineering Manager located in Vaughan, ON. The Mechanical Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day engineering activities, managing projects, providing team leadership, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Manage the engineering department which is responsible for product development, production development, and hands-on field support. This role is responsible for achieving the engineering department’s overarching goals and its short-term tactical objectives. This role involves significant project management, mechanical/hydraulic/simple control design, design oversight, and the ability to support and train field personnel.
Qualifications Candidates MUST have solid Mechanical Design Experience in SolidWorks and will be able to administer and Set-up a SolidWorks environment. Proven experience in Project Management Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
