Personal Banker – Mandarin or Cantonese Language Required TD Securities seeks a Personal Banker fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese to serve customers in Toronto. Job Location Toronto, Ontario, Canada Hours 37.5 hours per week (full-time) Line of Business Personal & Commercial Banking Pay $52,700 – $74,400 CAD (base salary; additional variable compensation available) Job Description As a Personal Banker at TD Canada Trust, you will provide financial planning advice, promote banking products, and build lasting relationships with customers. Responsibilities Advising customers on high-level financial solutions, including investment and credit banking options. Engaging customers through thoughtful financial questions to create positive experiences and deepen relationships. Providing personalized financial advice to increase customer confidence and addressing concerns while maintaining confidentiality. Serving as a point of contact for frontline staff in handling customer problems. Maintaining professional spaces in common areas in accordance with marketing and regulatory guidelines. Conducting financial reviews, discussing portfolio updates, and recommending solutions based on customer goals. Staying knowledgeable about emerging issues, evolving regulations, and industry codes of conduct; participating in process improvement initiatives. Striving to achieve and improve service level agreements and productivity targets. Preparing documents in compliance with relevant regulations and accurately reflecting business intentions. Actively participating as a team member, helping build a positive, diverse work environment, mentoring others, and addressing communication issues efficiently. Job Requirements High school diploma and/or 1 year of relevant experience. Post‑secondary or undergraduate degree in a related field is an asset. Completion of IFIC or equivalent required. CFSA must be completed within 12 months if hired. Real‑estate secured lending and/or investment experience is an asset. Sound knowledge of advanced investing and credit processes, banking solutions, and concepts for advising customers in a fast‑paced environment. Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications. Tactful communicator who can exchange ideas and customer information concisely and logically. Self‑initiator with strong organizational, planning, and time‑management skills.
