Salary Range: $4700 - $6000 / Month

Salary is commensurate with the number of academic semesters and prior co-op experiences completed.

Responsibilities
  1. Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  2. Support development of technical and project documentation
  3. Extract and analyze information from Maximo to monitor truck performance, work orders, purchase orders, and purchase requisitions as needed
  4. Conduct technical and economic risk analyses to support project decision making
  5. Support the Project Lead and Coordinators with ad-hoc requests
  6. Support the Quality Control Specialist with QC documentation, feedback, and improvements
  7. Create visual dashboards for asset performance of mobile equipment using PowerBI. This includes gathering appropriate data and interpreting it to make meaningful observations
  8. Update and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports
  9. Support the development of project schedule and progress tracking of projects in MS Excel and MS Schedule
  10. Attend weekly project update meetings and technical meetings as needed. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring meeting minutes, action items and lessons learned are captured and distributed as appropriate
Qualifications
  1. Pursuing a degree in an Engineering field (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Mining) while maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  2. Proficient in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  3. Basic understanding or curiosity about project controls, scope management, and quality management would be an asset
  4. Able to work collaboratively in diversified teams
  5. Experience in PowerBI and Maximo will be considered an asset
  6. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  7. Self-starter with the ability to work on several tasks simultaneously
  8. Able to learn new technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently
  9. Ability to communicate with precision in a technical environment
  10. Able to articulate sophisticated concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understand
