About the Role

Responsible For

  • Provide overall technical guidance on API and application security, performance, and maintainability
  • Collaborate with product and design teams
  • Troubleshoot and debug back-end application issues
  • Participate in back-end code reviews
  • Rails experience is a bonus

About You

  • 5+ years of experience architecting back-end API systems for high traffic
  • 5+ years of experience integrating APIs with third-party platforms/APIs/services
  • 5+ years of experience writing Node.js backends
  • Experience building with a 3rd party authentication platform, CMS, and similar
  • Experience working in Agile development environments
  • Mentorship mindset, ensuring that the team understands technical vision
  • Self-motivated with proven ability to take initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously while maintaining team alignment
  • Excellence in remote communication and collaboration
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
