Work closely with our dynamic Americas Sales teams to support revenue goals while managing risk, including negotiating complex technology and service agreements, training Sales on legal topics, and improving contracting processes for scalability. Independently manage a high volume of transactions, build strong cross-functional relationships, and develop in-depth knowledge of Entrust’s technology to guide risk assessment. Support due diligence and integration for acquisitions and adopt a proactive, business-oriented approach to serving internal and external clients.We are looking for creative, collaborative and results-driven lawyers. This Corporate Attorney role will play a key part in partnering with Entrust’s Americas Sales team and other members across the organization. Best of all – you will become part of an impactful and talented global legal teamWe offer flexibilityWe offer a diverse work environmentFutureproof your career with a job in information securityHow you will make an impact :Partner with our Americas Sales team to meet revenue targets while managing corporate risk, which includes training Sales on relevant legal topics (e.g., negotiation efficiencies, corporate risk tolerance and other contracting positions, etc.), negotiating and closing complex technology, support and professional services agreements, and other agreements related to our business in a strategic, practical and timely mannerCollaborate with the legal team and key stakeholders across the organization to build efficiencies and processes into the customer contracting lifecycle to enable scalability (e.g., playbooks, contract standardization, and CMS projects)Efficiently manage a large volume and variety of transactions and independently prioritize and manage projects effectivelyBuild strong relationships within our global legal team and cross-functionally, at all levels of the organization, and coordinate resources to work through all aspects of contract negotiationsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of Entrust’s technology and business practices to appropriately quantify risk and educate internal stakeholders in a business-friendly mannerAdopt an engaging and proactive style of legal practice to effectively serve internal clients and Entrust’s customersAssist in due diligence and integration efforts associated with acquisitions, as requiredConduct research on applicable laws and regulations regarding commercial and compliance mattersThe role may include responsibilities in other areas within the legal departmentQualifications : Basic QualificationsJD (or equivalent) from an accredited law school and authorized and licensed to practice law in at least one jurisdiction (including the jurisdiction from which you are working from)Must be able to lawfully work within the jurisdiction in which you are residing and have unrestricted work authorization4+ years of relevant, post-law school experience (at least 2 years in an in-house corporate environment preferred)Strong skills in interpreting, drafting, and negotiating sophisticated technology contracts (including agreements for hardware, software, managed and hosted services, cloud services / aaS technologies), providing practical and business-oriented advice and with an ability to think strategically and present alternative solutionsExperience supporting Sales, both direct and indirect models, including negotiating managed service, OEM, system integrator agreementsA solid understanding of data privacy and information security contractual issuesAbility to travel as necessary (estimated at 10% or less)Preferred Qualifications :Superior interpersonal, communication (both written and oral) and organization skillsResponsive and detailed-oriented (with the ability to see the bigger picture)Highly adaptable and agile; comfortable with uncertainty and ambiguityProven ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision, manage multiple projects and effectively prioritize competing interestsExperience working effectively cross-functionally and building strong relationships with business partners across an organizationAbility to solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrityGovernment contracting experience at federal, state and local levels a plusWhy Should You Apply?Leader in the security industryFriendly, supportive & knowledgeable teamsOpportunities for on-the-job trainingYou’ll help secure identitiesFor more information, visit .Follow us on , , , and .#LI-XT1At Entrust, we don’t just offer jobs – we offer career journeys. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, education, skills and experience. This position is also eligible for the company’s discretionary annual incentive plan.
