OverviewCorporate Finance AI Expert (Remote - Canada / Europe) at Gartner. This role involves regular publication of insights and engagement with Finance leaders to advise on Artificial Intelligence-related questions and challenges within the finance function.What you’ll do / Key ResponsibilitiesCreate unique, defensible and highly consumable business and technology insights that address the AI priorities and opportunities of finance leaders.Serve as a leading authority on finance AI topics, including use cases, pilots, governance, vendor landscape, and connecting AI to finance process automation and transformation.Stay abreast of external research and trends in artificial intelligence relevant to finance audiences.Provide current and prospective clients with actionable advice via virtual and face-to-face interactions.Support business growth and client engagement strategies by partnering with Gartner’s commercial organization.Act as an internal advisor on how AI technologies and approaches are impacting the finance function.Create and deliver presentations for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings.Build your personal brand as a Finance AI expert to drive Gartner’s insights, methodology and strategy.What you’ll need12+ years of experience in finance function and technology topics, with 3+ years of AI for finance, with increasing scope and responsibility.Career exposure to major finance processes and workflows, data sources and technologies.Experience with deployment of AI functionality in embedded tools and development of homegrown or company-specific AI solutions.Exposure to data science, quantitative analytics, statistics, probabilistic decision-making and coding languages (preferably Python).Moderate willingness to travel; primarily virtual role with occasional domestic and international travel opportunities.Who you arePolished communicator: credible with senior executives, able to distill key points succinctly in written and verbal form.Collaborative: comfortable working with global colleagues and clients in virtual and in-person settings.Organized: able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or in a team under deadlines.Confident: able to make sound decisions and drive results with minimal supervision in a remote environment.Analytically savvy: strong critical reasoning and analytical capabilities to understand drivers of challenges and propose solutions.Naturally curious: a life-long learner with enthusiasm for exchanging ideas with others.Who we areAt Gartner, Inc.
