Medical Specialist Remote Role Base pay range: $120.00/hr - $170.00/hr About The Job Mercor connects elite creative and technical talent with leading AI research labs. Position: Medical Practitioner (MD or DO) Type: Independent contractor Compensation: $120–$170/hour Location: Remote Duration: 6 weeks Commitment: 20+ hours/week Role Responsibilities Contribute clinical expertise to the design and evaluation of AI medical outputs. Review AI-generated medical case studies, diagnoses, and workflows for accuracy and alignment with medical standards. Provide structured feedback on clarity, safety, and medical rigor. Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers to refine model performance and outputs. Qualifications 2+ years of clinical practice work experience in the US. Experience in Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Public Health, Hospital-Based, and Mental Health specialties. MD or DO from a reputable medical school. Excellent attention to detail and written communication. Location: Candidates must be in the US, UK, Canada, or Australia. Start Date Immediate Compensation & Legal Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Top performers receive weekly bonus incentives of $30/hour on top of their pay rate.
