As an Electrical Controls Designer / Detailer, your responsibilities include: Creating AutoCAD drawings and assisting with the development of associated documents for various control systems. Co‑ordinating with Mechanical Designers to develop electrical drawings and documentation for efficient and safe control systems. Co‑ordinating with other electrical designers and assisting in the design and development of control systems for larger projects. Assisting with sourcing new and improved components to keep equipment up to date with today’s technology. Managing all aspects of control equipment to conform to customer specifications. Following internal engineering procedures, including working in Vault. Successful candidates will have: Electrical Controls Technologist / Technician or Engineer, CO‑OP student or equivalent experience. Experience making drawing-related decisions with the assistance of the Electrical Controls System Supervisor using AutoCAD. Ability to interface with Electrical Designers and/or contract designers/integrators assigned to the project. Compensation and Benefits: $45.00 - $60.00 hourly. Preferred rates for benefit coverage available. 6‑month contract, opportunity for extension. Hybrid work environment. Seniority level: Entry level. Employment type: Contract.
