Join to apply for the Software Development Engineer II role at Cattron GlobalJoin to apply for the Software Development Engineer II role at Cattron GlobalGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Under general supervision, the Software Development Engineer II designs and maintains software applications used in Cattron products.ResponsibilitiesDesigns, develops and tests new software applications, SDKs, and APIsUpgrade/Maintain existing software applicationsResponsible for software development projects following a formal process, including software design, code reviews, use of software standards, and testingProvide general application support, analysis, and design related to applications running expansive business systems/functions globallyPrepare and review documents, including requirements analysis, design, unit testing plans, release notes and user guides etc.Collaborate effectively with other groups and business partnersInvestigate, recommend and implement new technologiesRequirementsRich knowledge on defining project scope, deliverables and team requirementsAbility to lead small project teams and deliver results against milestones and deliverablesProficient with various technology, which may include: Java, J2EE, EJB, JavaScript, AJAX, REST, SQL, DHTML, Linux, ASP, .NET, SOAP, C, C++, C#, and Shell ScriptsAble to work successfully in a deadline-driven, fast paced environment and effectively multi-task priorities in a team-oriented environmentMust be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedulesEnterprise web application development experience is preferredExperience with Agile projects (Scrum) is a plusEDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferredExperience may be substituted in lieu of degreeMinimum of 5 years’ experience in software developmentWhy Join Cattron?At Cattron, we’re committed to upholding our values of Integrity, Respect, Transparency, Accountability, and Execution in every aspect of our business.
