Opportunity Emergency Medicine Specialist Location: Selkirk Regional Health Centre, 120 Easton Drive, Selkirk, MB R1A 1S1 Job Type: Standard Application EFT: Negotiable Shift: Days/Evenings/Nights/Weekends Salary: In accordance with the Physician Service Agreement Start Date: Negotiable The Region is seeking qualified physicians to provide care in the Selkirk Regional Health Centre Emergency Department, with remuneration based on the provincial Physician Services Agreement. Shifts vary over a six‑week period covering days, afternoons, evenings and nights; a contract will be provided. Qualifications FRCPC or equivalent, or Family Medicine Enhanced Skills in Emergency Medicine certificate Required Skills Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Site and Community The IERHA is looking for an Emergency Physician to join its medical team in a busy ED. Selkirk Regional Hospital has 42 Medicine/Palliative Care beds, 8 Medicine/Surgery/Long-Term Care beds, 15 General Surgery beds, 8 Gynecology/Labour and Delivery beds, 4 Critical Care beds, a Community Cancer program, Dialysis, Rehab Services, an Outpatient Centre and laboratory services and diagnostic imaging including MRI. Selkirk is a city in Manitoba, approximately 22 km northeast of Winnipeg, on the Red River.
