The Institute for Mental Health Policy Research (IMHPR) at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health is dedicated to informing policy and practice on mental illness and substance use disorders through collaborative research on communities, populations, health systems, and global health. IMHPR scientists develop and evaluate prevention and intervention initiatives to reduce mental health and substance use challenges, guided by equity and the social determinants of health. Location: London, Ontario, Canada | Salary: CA$60,000.00–CA$85,000.00 | Employment type: Casual, non‑union | Seniority level: Entry level Responsibilities Compile, organize, and analyze large volumes of quantitative data. Perform variable recoding, refinement, and descriptive statistics. Conduct advanced statistical modeling using hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) to account for nesting at the group level. Prepare tables presenting results and assist in writing study findings for publications and reports (e.g., draft academic manuscripts). Job Requirements The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in health or social sciences or a related discipline combined with at least 1 year of quantitative research experience. They must demonstrate strong knowledge of data management, variable and scale development, various analytic methods, and in-depth expertise in hierarchical linear modeling techniques. Excellent writing skills are required, evidenced by authoring papers, academic publications, and/or reports. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office, SPSS, HLM, and/or Mplus. They should be conscientious, reliable, mature, enthusiastic, and motivated, with strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. The role requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively, follow detailed instructions, and work effectively in diverse settings. Candidates will be required to attend a two-and-a-half-day CAMH orientation session. This is a casual non‑union position located in the London Ontario area. #J-18808-Ljbffr
