The salary range is CAD $41.42/Hr. - CAD $55.91/Hr. Relocation assistance may be available. Apply today to connect with a Talent Acquisition AdvisorKey ResponsibilitiesProvide individualized nursing care, discharge planning, and case coordination for clients with severe mental illness, concurrent disorders, or dementia. Work independently and as part of a team.Enhance clients' quality of life from their perspective.Perform physical and psychosocial assessments.Collaborate with healthcare team and families to develop and modify treatment plans.Establish therapeutic relationships based on respect.Administer medications, monitor responses, and educate clients and families about medication and lifestyle integration.Maintain accurate client records, participate in team meetings, and engage in quality improvement activities.Qualifications & RequirementsCurrent registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).Minimum 6 weeks or 240 hours of clinical practicum in a mental health setting, supplemented by relevant coursework or experience.Knowledge & SkillsKnowledge of mental health principles, harm reduction, and community resources.Ability to perform assessments, crisis interventions, and counseling.Skill in care planning, documentation, conflict management, and mentoring.Additional InformationHours may vary based on operational needs.
