OverviewStatus: Full Time/Supervisor/Exempt/Non-ExemptJob SummaryResponsible for oversight of gym operations to ensure positive member experience and a financially successful club.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesRecruit, hire, train, schedule and supervise team members.Member service oversight ensuring all team members provide a great customer service experience at all times.Front desk responsibilities including greeting and welcoming members, gym tours, member service issues/questions, and related tasks.Provide support for team members and club members.Create and maintain a positive image for the club.Coach and counsel performance to help achieve company standards.Ensure prompt opening/closing of the gym.Ensure staff are aware of and trained on all current marketing promotions.Finish manager portion of onboarding, in Paycom, for all new hires.Ensure the club is open and staffed during all hours of business.Ensure self and team members implement and adhere to all company policies and procedures.Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory.Skills and CompetenciesCustomer Service: communicates and interacts with customers (including coworkers and the public) in a way that exceeds the customer’s wants and needs.Listening: actively listens to customers, empathizes, and works to solve problems.Problem Solving: analyzes information, considers alternatives, and plans to resolve situations; seeks assistance when needed.Diplomacy: demonstrates tact and appropriate behavior and language.Communication: maintains timely and effective communication with staff, supervisors, and departments to increase productivity and prevent misunderstandings.Minimum QualificationsHonesty and good work ethicAt least 1 year of equivalent managerial experienceStrong communication, organizational and leadership skillsBasic computer proficiencyPhysical DemandsStanding and walking at least 75% of the shiftTalking in person or on the phone at least 75% of the shiftMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs. less than 30% of the timeBenefitsDollars for Scholars ProgramEmployee Appreciation ProgramFree Membership for self and one family member or friend #J-18808-Ljbffr
