The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP EWM solutions and implementations, coupled with extensive knowledge of SAP MM/SD modules and their integration with other functional areas. Exposure to the retail industry is highly desirable.The SAP Senior Functional Consultant will assist in supply chain management and Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives for our enterprise clients. The candidate will closely work with technical leads, architects, software engineers, and business analysts in a highly collaborative environment. In this role, you will gather requirements from business, design, configure, test, deploy and provide user support for SAP application software. The ideal candidate must be able to thrive in an environment where change is constant.LocationToronto (Hybrid), requires travel to Distribution Centres within GTAResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, implement, and test large scale projects and enhancements in EWM supply chain processesParticipate in the full SDLC (Agile), including iterative development, estimations and design sessionsDeliver high quality project deliverables and assignments on time and within allocated budgetHands on with EWM implementationsCollaborate with architects and cross-functional teams in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutionsProvide support and troubleshooting for SAP EWM-related issuesWork with distributed teams across various time zonesCoordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business clientsProvide support for testing and post go-live support on project initiativesStay up-to-date with the latest SAP EWM developments and industry trends to drive continuous improvementQualificationsBachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering6+ years total experience as an engineer in SAP environmentMinimum 5 years of experience in SAP implementations3+ years in EWM core implementation4+ years of experience in SAP MM / SD ModulesHands-on experience in following:Inbound and Outbound design and configuration for both retail & e-commerce Distribution centersDesign of warehouse processes including warehouse structure like storage types, warehouse process types, put away and stock removal strategies, process & layout oriented storage controlReplenishment process, customer orders—combined picking (multi-step picking)Additional RequirementsStrong understanding of integration points between SAP EWM and other SAP modulesProven experience in developing and implementing highly scalable, high performance and stable SAP applicationsKnowledge of Agile system development methodology and prior experience working in Agile environmentStrong in estimating and planning skills and the ability to clearly write technical specificationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood to HaveCertification in SAP MM/SD or EWM is a plusPrior exposure to the retail industry is highly desirableWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunity to work with a diverse and talented teamProfessional development and growth opportunitiesA dynamic and collaborative work environmentJob DetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals can increase your chances of interviewing at Infoya.
