The Financial Independent Advisor will help individuals and families achieve their financial goals with holistic, tailored solutions. Responsibilities Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the client’s financial situation to create goal-based investment and financial plans. Advise clients on estate planning to meet their needs and goals, in collaboration with internal and external resources. Provide quotes, upsell/cross-sell other products, and conduct front-line risk assessment in accordance with underwriting guidelines. Cultivate and maintain community relationships to enhance branch visibility and maximize new business opportunities. How You Will Succeed You remain focused and optimistic in pursuing goals, allocating time and resources to manage the sales portfolio. You build plans to expand market penetration and apply an innovative mindset to improve operational efficiencies with a client-centric lens. You have strong communication skills to influence others and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions. You facilitate adoption of change and help create a high-performance culture aligned with organizational goals. You use critical thinking to guide decision making and adapt plans to shifting priorities. To Join Our Team You are required to have a life insurance licence with Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF). You have 2 to 3 years of experience in life insurance sales and business development. You have a college or university degree in a related field. This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment. You have in-depth knowledge of life and wealth insurance products. Having strong underwriting skills is an asset. Proficiency in both English and French is essential for servicing and communicating with majority anglophone and francophone clients, groups, and teams. Non-French duties are not assignable to adjacent or other team members. What You Need To Know You will travel regularly.
