Shop Manager - Georgetown, ON Company: First StudentLocation: Georgetown, OntarioJob Type: Full‑Time First Student is looking for a hands‑on, experienced Shop Manager to lead our maintenance operations in Georgetown, ON. If you're passionate about fleet maintenance, team leadership, and safety, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of the maintenance shop, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance. Lead and support a team of technicians and service staff. Manage preventative maintenance schedules and repair work for school buses and fleet vehicles. Ensure compliance with provincial and company standards. Monitor inventory, parts ordering, and vendor relationships. Collaborate with location and regional leadership on operational goals and improvements. What We're Looking For Previous experience managing a vehicle maintenance shop or fleet operation. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of Ontario safety and compliance standards. Valid driver's license (Class 2 or 310T certification is an asset). Ability to work in a fast‑paced, service‑oriented environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
