Base pay range CA$75.00/hr - CA$75.00/hr Direct message the job poster from HISH IT SERVICES Location: Hybrid - in office 2 days/week, GTA Job type: Contract(6 Months) - High possibility of Extention Pay : CAD$75 /Hour Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence (BI) Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, analytics-driven solutions for a Call Center modernization project. This role requires deep expertise in Power BI, strong understanding of AWS cloud platforms, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable data models and reporting solutions. The BI Architect will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data architecture and reporting frameworks support real-time insights, performance tracking, and decision-making across the call center operation. Responsibilities: Design and implement end-to-end BI solutions tailored to call center operations and customer service KPIs Architect scalable data models and semantic layers for use in Power BI dashboards and reports Lead the integration of call center systems data (e.g., CRM, telephony, ticketing platforms) into a centralized reporting environment Collaborate with data architects and engineers to develop secure, efficient data pipelines using AWS services (e.g., Redshift, Glue, S3, Athena) Define and enforce BI standards, data governance practices, and reporting best practices Translate business requirements into technical specifications and visualizations that provide actionable insights Optimize Power BI performance through effective data modeling, DAX, and dataset design Provide leadership and mentoring to BI developers and analysts Ensure alignment of BI architecture with overall data strategy and enterprise architecture Support ad hoc analysis and executive reporting needs as required Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, with at least 3 years in a BI Architect or Lead Developer role Expert-level experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and publishing reports Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, particularly Redshift, Glue, S3, and Lambda Solid understanding of call center operations and related KPIs Experience designing data solutions that support real-time or near real-time reporting Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field Preferred Qualifications Experience with call center platforms (e.g., Amazon Connect, Genesys, Five9) Familiarity with data governance frameworks and metadata management tools Exposure to Agile project environments Knowledge of Python or scripting languages for data transformation Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function General Business Industries IT Services and IT Consulting and IT System Data Services Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at HISH IT SERVICES by 2x Get notified about new Business Intelligence Architect jobs in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
