AMD together we advance_ THE ROLE: The Client and Graphics Engineering Validation Team is looking for a dynamic and energetic technical program manager to join our Graphics Memory validation team. The Graphics Memory System program manager will work closely across engineering and management disciplines to deliver pre- and post-silicon validation and characterization Graphics Memory solutions on AMD’s discrete GPU products. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of the silicon development processes, a solid background in project management techniques, and excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Proactively leading graphics memory project planning, developing and maintaining schedules, managing dependencies, and ensuring quality of deliverables at committed milestones. Develops regular status representing the graphics memory team in program meetings providing status to program and senior management. Identify project risks and define mitigation strategies to address. Work with major DRAM memory vendors in memory device qualification including planning, memory roadmaps, validation, & issue resolution. Develop and lead graphics memory process improvement initiatives including technical test plan development, quality, and efficiency improvements.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Technical program management experience on highly complex projects involving ASICs, PCBs and Subsystems. Experience in graphics memory domain considered plus. Proficient in productivity tools including: Confluence, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Project, OneNote, and Excel. Must possess strong leadership skills and be a team player. Experience implementing and refining new processes. Able to work efficiently in a dynamic environment and on multiple projects. Good written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate with a variety of engineering disciplines and management.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience preferred
