Senior Dotnet Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior C# .NET Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade, high-performance applications. The role demands strong backend engineering expertise using C#, .NET Core (v8 preferred), advanced database programming with T‑SQL (2022), and hands‑on experience building microservices hosted on internal cloud platforms. Exposure to modern integration, DevOps tooling, capital markets environments, and FX‑related systems will be highly advantageous. The candidate will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior developers, uphold engineering excellence, and contribute to scalable, secure, event‑driven architectures. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of backend services and APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET. Build and optimize SQL Server (T‑SQL 2022) database solutions including stored procedures, query tuning, indexing, and performance optimization. Collaborate with architects, BAs, and product stakeholders to define robust technical solutions. Design and implement microservices hosted on the client’s internal cloud, leveraging Docker and OpenShift for containerization and deployment. Implement and maintain event‑driven and messaging systems (Kafka preferred). Integrate with internal and external systems using RESTful APIs. Provide guidance on application architecture, code reviews, testing strategies, and DevOps best practices. Mentor junior developers and contribute to raising overall engineering standards. Contribute to FX‑related services within a services FX hub spanning multiple business lines (preferred). Qualifications 10+ years of professional experience developing enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies. Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core (8 preferred), ASP.NET, and backend service development. Advanced experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning, stored procedures, and T‑SQL (2022). Hands‑on experience with microservices architecture, distributed systems, and cloud‑hosted deployments. Experience using Docker and OpenShift in enterprise environments. Experience in capital markets and banking is mandatory. Experience with FX systems or FX hub services is preferred (not mandatory). Experience with Kafka or other event‑driven systems is preferred. Exposure to front‑end frameworks such as React is preferred (not mandatory). Strong problem‑solving skills with excellent communication and leadership abilities. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
