People like youJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator responsible for inventory control and receiving activities. This role includes inventory cycle counts, solving inventory discrepancies and assisting with/organizing physical inventories.BenefitsHealth Insurance (includes Virtual Health, and HCSA), Dental Insurance, Vision InsuranceLife Insurance, Long-term Disability, Short-term DisabilityRRSP MatchPaid VacationFloating DaysEmployee Assistance ProgramEmployee Engagement EventsAwards and RecognitionTuition reimbursementService AwardsEmployee Perks & DiscountsJob ResponsibilitiesRecords the inventory of all storeroom itemsMaintains database, updating records to record supplies and materials received and dispensedConducts physical inventories on a routine scheduleVerifies inventory records and corrects discrepanciesReceiving and sorting incoming spare parts, components and supplies in the appropriate locationsEnsures parts information is cataloged in the system and bins are properly labeledIssue and distribute parts to maintenance personnel for internal usageMaintain and enforce quality standards and good housekeeping protocols within the maintenance shop and spare parts stock roomPrepare parts kitting rack against schedule Work orderOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredForklift License is an assetProficient computer skills with the ability to update and maintain computer inventory recordsAbility to read and prepare packing slips and labelsGood communication and interpersonal skillsMust be able to traverse the storeroom quickly and efficientlyPhysically able to maintain storeroom inventory and cleanlinessMust be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a timeDetail-oriented with good analytical skills, and be able to work independently when neededBenefits of Employment: IKO recognizes that its success is due to the strength of its employees.
