Project OverviewPickering Nuclear Generating Station refurbishment program involves designing and building a new deep-water intake in Lake Ontario to improve the plant's cooling system. This will involve:A 1.5 km-long tunnel, built by a pressurized TBM (10.15 m diameter slurry TBM);Two vertical shafts (onshore and offshore);An offshore modular intake structure, resting on the lake bed.ResponsibilitiesWork Breakdown Structure:Structure all schedules, budgets, progress updates, request for payments and accrual reports according to the Works Breakdown Structure.Schedule Management:Establish the project schedule in a multi-layer scheduling model that meets the requirements of the client (milestones, scope categories, control accounts, work packages and activities)Define resources at level 3 and 2 for all contract types.Provide native scheduling files when requested.Cost Management:Submit Oncore job set form or Ecosys version in conjunction with the Work Breakdown Structure dictionary.Risk:Establish project risk profile, including the identification of discrete risk including opportunities with overall detailed assessment of probability and impacts.Establish Proposed Risk Management Plan.Ensure alignment with the client project risk management manual and processes.Qualifications15 years’ experience with at least 5 years of project controls.Experience in a lead role on complex projects, ideally large tunnel projects throughout the project lifecycle.Knowledge of the risk management of tunnel works.CRM certification (asset).Experience in marine works (asset).BenefitsCompetitive annual gross salary;4 vacation weeks & 3 emergency/sickness days paid;Group Health Insurance (premium participation including virtual health care system);Wellness spending account;A cosmopolite and inclusive work environment;Attractive and challenging project.Seniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionProject ManagementLegal EEO statementAt Dodin Québec, we believe that diversity is a source of strength and richness.
