Ensure you meet the following requirements:Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence required (M1 or M2 preferred)Minimum 2 years’ experience and/or endorsed on Boeing 737and/or 787 and/or Q400, or equivalent type of aircraft is preferredProven technical aptitude with strong airframe, powerplant, and flight control experience requiredLegally entitled to work in Canada (must hold a Canadian Passport or Permanent Residency and/or open work permit with PR card in process)Must be able to obtain Radio Licence within 6 months of employmentThe physical ability to lift 62lbs and be able to sit, kneel and stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work in a variety of environmental conditions including temperature extremes, confined spaces, working at heights and in a noisy workspaceAbility to maintain a positive fit test to wear all safety and protective equipment including (but not limited) to a respirator apparatusFlexibility to work shift work (night shifts, weekends and holidays) including overtime when necessaryMust be able to travel for situations where base coverage and/or rescue trips are requiredStrong computer knowledge and skills using various Maintenance programs and Microsoft Office ApplicationsSuccessful candidates will be required to meet the following conditions of employment:Obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) issued by Transport CanadaObtain and maintain Airside Vehicle Operators Permits (AVOP).
