Job Description Payrate: CAD $40/hr on INC We are looking for an experienced Java GCP Developer to design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . The ideal candidate will possess strong Java expertise and hands-on experience with modern cloud services and development frameworks. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain microservices and cloud-native applications using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot , and related frameworks. Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate with external services. Work with GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage. Implement application security using Spring Security and best practices. Create and maintain unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for high-quality deliverables. Monitor and optimize application performance on GCP. Required Skills Strong proficiency in Java , Spring Core, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot. GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer). Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Expertise in microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with DevOps tools and practices . Exposure to Agile methodology .
