Groupe PARIMA is a Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO), established in 1994. For over 30 years, we have developed an expertise in the development and manufacturing of non-sterile liquids, suspensions and semi-solid drug products. Product Development Associate The Product Development Associate provides support for product development activities associated with the development and commercialization of product projects. Responsibilities Prepare and execute laboratory-scale batches Provide support to the formulator in the preparation, documentation, and execution of laboratory-scale batches and engineering batches. Perform sampling as part of cleaning verification and cleaning validation activities Provide floor monitoring of manufacturing and packaging processes when required. Participate in problem-solving and investigation of PDS batches and cleaning activities. Provide support to project managers Draft forms, procedures, manufacturing and packaging sheets, protocols, and reports required for the smooth running of the PDS department. Coordinate and carry out the PDS Lab inventory Participate in the creation, execution, and closing of change notices and CAPAs Provide assistance to other product development and production activities. Skills and experience required Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry), or a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry), or a related discipline, from a Canadian university or a degree recognized by a Canadian university or accreditation body as being of equivalent level in a scientific field. Minimum of three (3) years in the pharmaceutical industry Practical experience in semi-solid forms and/or development processes and/or cleaning verificationStrong technical writing skills Experience in formulation (an asset) Dynamic and able to multi-task Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Canadian (Health Canada); Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), FDA guidelines and safety measures Highly organized, detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on precision Good interpersonal and communication skills (English and French, written and spoken) Strong problem-solving and technical writing skills Mastery of safety concepts and process methodology Flexible and able to adjust to PDS process schedules Good computer skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook).
