All positions, unless otherwise specified, can be performed remotely (within the US and Canada) regardless of any specified location above.About The Team The Finance Data Analytics team sits at the intersection of Finance & Accounting teams and Life360’s data. We provide the data ingestion / processing / reporting needed by our partner teams in Finance & Accounting to enable their work and ensure SOX compliance with rigor. We push the envelope on how work is done through implementation of AI tools and capabilities to enhance our own pace of development and capabilities that we deliver to our stakeholders.What You’ll DoSupport our Strategic Finance, Revenue, and other accounting teams with reporting / analysis tools - providing data and tools that go to both internal and external financial reporting.Develop and optimize Tableau dashboards, and support utilization of other tools such as the Python-based Plotly.Use tools like dbt, Causal, and others to model data.Use Databricks to query, review, and analyze data.Use DBT (Data Build Tool) to orchestrate, test, and deploy SQL data models.Support the finance & accounting teams during the month-end close by maintaining and improving financial reporting capabilities.Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to support financial analytics, forecasting, and other data-driven decision-making processes.Implement AI-based solutions to help expedite development and expand our capabilities.Maintain comprehensive documentation of the data warehouse architecture, data models, integrations, and processes to ensure effective knowledge sharing and operational continuity.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.4+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on financial reporting, accounting support, and business intelligence.Extensive experience partnering with cross-functional teams to create data visualization and reporting capabilities.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.Advanced SQL skills.Experience working with Python or other programming languages.Experience working with Claude Code and Cursor / Windsurf / other AI-enhanced IDEs.Experience managing a Databricks data warehouse or similar (Snowflake, BigQuery, etc) and deploying SQL data models.Proficiency with DBT and Airflow for orchestrating data models, testing, and deployments.Experience deploying AI-based solutions in the finance and analytics space.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is passionate about leveraging data to drive business success and enjoys working at the intersection of finance, technology, and analytics.Our BenefitsCompetitive pay and benefitsMedical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance plans (100% paid for employees)401(k) plan with company matching programMental Wellness Program & Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for mental well beingFlexible PTO, 13 company wide days off throughout the yearWinter and Summer Week-long Synchronized Company ShutdownsLearning & Development programsEquipment, tools, and reimbursement support for a productive remote environmentFree Life360 Platinum Membership for your preferred circleFree Tile ProductsLife360 ValuesBe a Good Person - We have a team of high integrity people you can trust.Be Direct With Respect - We communicate directly, even when it’s hard.Members Before Metrics - We focus on building an exceptional experience for families.High Intensity, High Impact - We do whatever it takes to get the job done.Our Commitment to DiversityWe believe that different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds create a stronger and more creative work environment that delivers better results.
