Health Care Aide (HCA) – Part Time – Viking Join Extendicare as a Health Care Aide (HCA) on a part‑time basis at our Viking, Alberta facility. Responsibilities Support residents with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, toileting, personal grooming and mobility. Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families. Ensure care is delivered according to the person’s wishes, preferences and care plan. Qualifications Completed HCA certification. Demonstrated compassion, accountability and respect. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English. Ability to meet the physical and cognitive demands of the job (e.g., bending, lifting, walking, attention to detail, ability to multi‑task).
