Accounting Manager

We are currently assisting a public accounting firm based in Edmonton with their Manager roles. This is a full-time, permanent onsite position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clients with sound advice on their accounting and tax engagements and identify opportunities to expand services with clients
  • Manage and review a wide variety of engagements including T1's, T2's, T3's, Compilations
  • Represent the accounting firm at networking and industry events to leverage new business development.
  • Mentorship and support to existing staff, regular contributions to improving firm policies and procedures
  • Interact closely with the Partners in exceeding our client's expectations.
  • Multi-task and manage a demanding workload and multiple deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of experience with public accounting
  • CPA designated
  • Extensive reviewing experience for small and medium businesses
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
