OverviewJob Title : Field Service Technician – Generator Mechanic (Entry Level to Certified Mechanics)Pay : $25 - $45 per hour (based on experience)Join a company that powers critical infrastructure and invests in your successWhy You’ll Love Working HereCompetitive Compensation + Paid OvertimeComprehensive Health & Dental CoverageRRSP Matching Program – We invest in your futureAnnual Wellness & Health Spending AccountsCompany Vehicle Provided – Take it homeUniforms + Boot & Tool Allowances – Because the details matterTuition Reimbursement – Grow with usEmployee Assistance Program – Support when you need itLife Insurance & Vision CarePaid Time Off & Company HolidaysWhat You’ll Be DoingProvide field-based service including emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and installations for commercial and industrial generatorsTest, measure, and verify the operation of electrical components (AC / DC), transfer switches, and control systemsConduct startups, diagnostics, and load bank testing on diesel and natural gas generatorsProgram and troubleshoot generator controls and synchronizing systemsBuild trusted customer relationships through professional, clear communication and top-tier serviceMaintain company tools, inventory, and equipment with care and accuracyComplete all necessary documentation, service logs, and reportsCollaborate with your Supervisor and team members to ensure high-quality service deliveryWhat You Bring to the RoleEntry Level Candidates : Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn with basic knowledge or experience in gas or diesel engines, electrical systems, or mechanical repairExperienced Technicians : 3+ years hands-on technical service experience in related fields such as generator maintenance, heavy equipment mechanic, HVAC technician, electrician, industrial or marine mechanic, or automotive technicianBackground in mechanical and electrical troubleshootingCollege diploma or certification in Power Generation, or certifications such as Licensed Electrician, ASE Certified Mechanic, EPA 608 / 609, or manufacturer-specific training are a plusValid [insert local] driver’s license with a clean recordProficiency or willingness to learn AC / DC systems, generator control systems, and engine diagnosticsExcellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written)Company DescriptionWe work with you to ensure the job fits what you are looking for.
