We welcome applications from everyone and are committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace, ensuring every team member feels empowered.Reporting to the Director, Distribution and Operations, the Regional Manager, Distribution Operations will be responsible for maintaining the efficient operations of the main distribution center in Montreal, and for managing regional distribution operations in Quebec. The incumbent will organize, manage and control all operations of the Montreal Distribution Center (DC), which delivers parts to 13 warehouses in Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic provinces. The role requires using, monitoring, developing and analyzing a suite of KPIs to ensure optimal operations and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency across the Montreal DC and the three Quebec warehouses (Montreal, Boucherville, and Quebec City).The role balances DC operations with regional oversight, collaborating with internal and external partners, suppliers and customers, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, collaboration and customer-centric service. The candidate will act as an ambassador of Belron's values and will champion high performance, productivity, teamwork, quality, and safety.Our motto: the right windshield, at the right time, in the right place, and at the right price.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand, monitor, improve, and analyze the Montreal DC operations and supply to 13 warehouses in Eastern Canada, ensuring timely inventory delivery to service centers (corporate, franchised, and independent stores).Participate in the development of optimization strategies for the Montreal DC and standardization of operational and business processes.Improve the Montreal DC's financial performance by establishing budgets, labor requirements, expenses, and other performance metrics.Ensure inventory accuracy across the distribution network.Optimize all deliveries and routes to achieve efficient distribution while minimizing costs.Minimize damages, breakages, inventory shortages, and returns for all Quebec warehouses and the Montreal DC.Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics teams to manage inbound logistics and minimize receiving impact at the Montreal DC.Research and minimize the use of outside storage by leveling supplier arrivals.Support the Quebec region's wholesale distribution to corporate and franchise service centers, and to Independent Service Providers (ISPs).Serve as the point of contact when ISPs or Sales report delivery opportunities or issues in Quebec.Provide leadership and motivation to all employees under supervision in a positive, collaborative atmosphere.Plan, organize and supervise the workforce of the Montreal DC, the Montreal virtual warehouse, and the Quebec City and Boucherville warehouses.Manage, supervise, and coach a team of supervisors/managers to oversee the Montreal distribution center or warehouses.Indirectly coach and optimize the work of customer service representatives supporting the Quebec region.Develop and engage a diverse and skilled team with development plans, training, coaching, and succession planning.Establish a high-performance culture focused on productivity, teamwork, quality, customer focus, and employee well-being.Key Qualifications and CompetenciesUniversity degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management or operations management (Business/Commerce).Approximately 15 years of distribution experience, including about 10 years in supply chain and wholesale operations with increasing responsibility.Experience in a similar role within a national organization is an asset.Knowledge of transportation and logistics.Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with warehouse management systems (Optimiza, Gaines, Oracle).Excellent written and spoken communication in English and French.Operational expert and natural organizer who connects strategic plans to field operations and employees.Proven leadership and strong talent management skills.Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, teamwork, and a customer focus (internal and external).Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.Recognized as a change agent.Why Belron CanadaSee the results of your work and explore new avenues.Access to best practices from a broad international community.Balanced schedules and work-life integration.Comprehensive benefits starting on your first day of work.Opportunities for advancement, training and skills development as the organization grows.Belron Canada is part of the Belron International family, a global leader in auto glass repair and replacement and forward-facing digital camera calibration.
