Your Role and Responsibilities

  1. As Platform Engineer Architect, you will be working closely with the GTM team supporting sales activities from a technical perspective, while designing, leading and delivering client platform solution implementations.
  2. You will partner with clients advocating and helping them to achieve distinctive, lasting and substantial business improvements through the adoption of emerging technologies in Cloud.
  3. Collaborate with the offering and practice teams in developing latest assets and accelerators that are market differentiators for our offerings.
  4. Work closely with the delivery team to assist during critical situations. Lead fellow and junior architects while developing a strong and Agile team.
  5. Bring expertise in hybrid cloud platform security governance and compliance.
  6. Proven understanding of hybrid cloud platform (including OpenShift, IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and key cloud services consumption models and be able to construct cost effective solutions for our client.
  7. Proven experience in design and management of Linux environments on hybrid cloud.
  8. Maintain best practices on managing systems and services across all environments.
  9. Collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. 10+ years of experience in an architect/development lead role.
  2. 8+ years of experience in architecture design, deployment and implementation experience.
  3. 5+ years of experience in deploying workloads in a cloud (IaaS) environment.
  4. Experience in leading teams as well as technology and business consulting projects.
  5. Experience in developing or providing technical architectures for software deployment.
  6. Strong experience in automation technologies.
  7. Strong experience building cloud solutions.
  8. Strong experience in managing Platform for any Hyperscalers including activities such as Change and configure, Patch management, Resiliency & Quality Engineering, Cloud Brokerage, Incident/Problem management and Edge Management.
  9. Experience with CICD/DevOps.
  10. Experience in Agile-based DevOps continuous integration environments.
  11. Expertise in any one of the hyperscale cloud platforms.
  12. Kubernetes-based container platforms knowledge.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  1. Understanding of Red Hat ecosystem (OpenShift, Ansible, RH Fuse, RH SSO, etc.).
  2. Expertise in solution infrastructure as code and DevOps automations.
  3. Expertise in Datacenter moves to Cloud.
  4. Architecture-Design: Cloud-native and Cloud-ready applications (API enabled containerization).
  5. Familiar with IT Operations and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practice.
  6. Familiar with REST API Interface design, API Gateways, Swagger/OpenAPI standard, OAuth.
