We currently have an exciting opportunity for you to bring your excellent work ethic to our Speech Language Pathology department.In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, and in accordance with professional standards and the code of ethics outlined by the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of B.C., the Speech-Language Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders to adult acute care inpatient/outpatient patients. The Speech-Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them to create environments that promote optimal communication and swallowing. The Speech-Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department, including quality assurance initiatives, meetings, and education.Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00University Hospital Of Northern BC (UHNBC) is the largest acute care facility within the Northern Health Region and a hub for specialized health services.
