Senior Financial Analyst - HYPERION IS MUST 5 MONTHS CONTRACT

Join a dynamic team in a senior role as a Financial Analyst, supporting strategic decision-making and process improvement in a transformative project. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is essential. Requires knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and reporting systems like Oracle ERP and Hyperion. A degree in Business or Finance, along with a CPA or similar designation, is preferred. Security clearance may be necessary

Responsibilities:

Business case financial modeling: Support various projects and initiatives by developing financial models to monitor and manage costs effectively. Ad hoc financial analysis: Conduct analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide insights into divisional business activities. Administrative and technical support: Assist in various team activities, including organizing, coordinating, and leading initiatives, and preparing documentation and presentations. Process improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes and procedures to achieve greater efficiency. Budget preparation and consolidation: Assist in preparing corporate budget decks and consolidating information from the team. Vendor management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure effective management and delivery of services. Communication and collaboration: Work closely with non-finance leaders and committees, providing subject matter expertise and presenting financial insights to the executive team.

Qualifications: Financial expertise: Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, understanding of accounting principles, and experience with general accounting procedures. Analytical skills: Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, ability to perform high-quality work under tight timelines, and proficiency in financial investigations. Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with financial planning and reporting systems like Oracle ERP and Hyperion. Communication skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work with all levels of staff, and comfort with complexity and ambiguity. Education and certification: University degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, and a CPA or similar accounting designation or working towards it. Security clearance: May require security clearance for the position.
