This role is laser-focused on ensuring that releases are executed smoothly, efficiently, and predictably — from planning through deployment and post-release operations.If you excel at orchestrating complex releases across multiple teams, managing dependencies, and driving operational readiness, this is an opportunity to have a direct impact on how we bring our products to market.Key ResponsibilitiesRelease Planning & Execution: Manage the complete release lifecycle — from planning to deployment — ensuring releases are well-coordinated, technically sound, and aligned with delivery timelines.Delivery Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for release activities, aligning Engineering, QA, and Operations on scope, timelines, and readiness.Schedule & Milestone Management: Maintain release calendars, track progress against key milestones, and proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or blockers.Dependency & Risk Management: Identify, track, and mitigate delivery risks and interdependencies to maintain delivery cadence.Operational Readiness: Ensure that internal systems, documentation, and support teams are fully prepared for new releases. Coordinate deployment checklists, rollout plans, and release notes.Quality Assurance Alignment: Work closely with QA and Engineering teams to validate readiness criteria, testing completion, and deployment validation.Change Management: Oversee release approval and communication processes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned before go-live.Monitoring & Post-Release Review: Track post-release performance, coordinate incident response if needed, and lead retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.Process Optimization: Continuously refine delivery and release management practices to enhance reliability, efficiency, and scalability.Reporting & Visibility: Provide clear, concise updates and metrics on release progress, delivery velocity, and operational performance to leadership and stakeholders.Experience You’ll BringExperience: 3+ years in release management, product delivery, or project management, ideally in a B2B SaaS environmentExecution Focus: Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver releases on time and with high quality.Technical Understanding: Strong grasp of modern software development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.Agile Knowledge: Experience working within agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and integrating release management into sprint cycles.Risk & Dependency Management: Skilled at identifying delivery risks and dependencies, and implementing structured mitigation strategies.Communication: Excellent communication skills for coordinating across engineering, QA, and operations teams, and reporting to senior stakeholders.Tools: Proficiency in tools like Product Board, Jira, Confluence, Notion, Zapier, and other project management toolsWhat Success Looks LikePredictable and on-schedule releasesClear visibility into delivery pipelines and milestonesStrong collaboration across engineering and operationsContinuous improvement in delivery velocity and post-release qualityWhy work at FacilityOS?FacilityOS is the global leader in enterprise visitor management, helping complex enterprises digitize, optimize, and automate their key facility process – from streamlined visitor management to emergency evacuation, our Facility OS Platform is cutting edge and driving significant value with our customers.We work hard and play hard and we do both with passion and respect for one another.
