You will be responsible for developing hydro-related projects and business opportunities, leveraging your expertise in structural engineering, industry knowledge, and client relationships to achieve the firm’s objectives. Your main goal will be to grow BBA’s hydropower and dam portfolio. Position Details Type of position: Regular Key Responsibilities Review and update hydropower and dam safety strategies and action plans. Identify target clients and build a sustainable portfolio, balancing repeat business and new projects. Recommend strategic resources and organizations to complement in-house expertise. Contribute to business development and pursue new opportunities. Serve as client account manager for select clients. Support proposal development and ensure RFP requirements are met. Oversee project delivery, mentor engineers, and support strategic hiring. Participate in engineering mandates such as study mandates, detailed design, and dam safety reviews. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in civil structures, hydropower, and dam design. Registered as a professional engineer in Québec or Ontario. Willingness to travel occasionally. Assets include experience with budgets, estimates, schedules, financial modeling, and bilingualism (English and French).
