Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Consultant in Loan Solutions to join our team.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to support customers and prospective customers on the phone and in person.
  • Assess loan applications accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detailed oriented and able to closely follow credit policy rules to ensure risk parameters are consistently followed.
  • Gather loan information and sell our loan and protection products.
  • Close loans virtually and in person.
  • Follow up on past due customer accounts.
  • Manage cash controls including taking payments.
  • Commit to personal training and development to support our mission to deliver the best borrowing experience.

Requirements
  • Authorized to work in Canada.
  • A high-school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Great communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of prior experience in loan underwriting, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Previous experience working with loan origination software.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration.
  • Maintain a positive supportive attitude and help maintain a gratifying work atmosphere.
