In this position you are responsible for working with the Technical Art team to ensure real-time gameplay maintains high visual quality yet remains performant and functional. It is important that you have good communication skills and work collaboratively with peers.Responsibilities:Proactively work with other disciplines to identify pain points in workflow and help determine solutions for themRun-time performance – work with art teams to reduce content complexity, lighting cost, draw calls, etc. where appropriate, while maintaining visual qualityUse pix to identify content performance concerns and communicate over-budget assets out to the respective teamsWork with Level Art team to help identify and troubleshoot any performance issues in EnvironmentsWork with Technical Animation team to help identify and troubleshoot any animation related issuesWork with Character art team to help identify and troubleshoot character specific problems (Morph targets, materials/shaders, etc.)Educating, creating technical documentation, and communicating with external vendorsFix bugs in the game as they are reportedQualifications:Strong knowledge of production pertaining to video gamesThe ability to problem-solve, specifically test and debug technical issuesStrong knowledge of Unreal 4 or equivalent engineStrong knowledge of shader creation and optimizationScripting/programming in python, C# and C++Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionArt/CreativeIndustriesComputer Games #J-18808-Ljbffr
