Join to apply for the Project Geologist- EN role at IAMGOLD Corporation. The role is a 1‑year contract for two Project Geologists within IAMGOLD’s exploration team. You will lead design & execution of well‑planned, cost‑effective exploration programs aligned with IAMGOLD’s mining strategy, make day‑to‑day decisions in the field, interpret results, recommend future exploration activities, and support other projects within your expertise. Reporting Office Regional Val‑d’Or office (Office) 1740, Chemin Sullivan, suite 1300, Val D'Or, J9P 7H1. Responsibilities You’ll manage logistics and provide technical supervision to field teams, coordinate fieldwork, purchase supplies, ensure projects run smoothly and safely, contribute to geological reporting and documentation, model safe work practices, and support a culture of safety. Qualifications Post‑secondary degree in Geology; registration as a professional geologist; 5+ years’ experience in mineral exploration with a focus on gold; Project management experience is an asset; advanced computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, Excel, QGIS, MapInfo); valid Quebec driver’s license; First Aid/CPR certification is a plus. Each of the two positions requires bilingual competence in English and French, strong written communication skills in French, flexibility and mobility between Chibougamau and Abitibi regions, and reporting to the Regional Val‑d’Or office.
