OverviewMake an impact with our Accounting team as a Senior Administrator, Partner Accounting. Entrepreneurial to our core, our talented team members transcend obstacles into opportunities and are transforming mid-market business practices.ResponsibilitiesMaintain project schedules to complete updates of Partner related recordsSet up, maintain, and make updates to Partner information in applicable Finance systemsDirectly support EFT payments and T5013 processesPrepare monthly journal entries and general account reviewsProvide coding, reconciliation, and communication of Partner capital accounts and drawsDevelop internal relationships to understand and be aware of factors that affect Partner related recordsLiaise and work closely with Human Capital, Executive Administration, and our Firm Tax team on Partner changesAssist in post-merger reviews and reconciliationsPerform ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requiredSkills and Experience5 - 7 years of relevant experience in an accounts payable, payroll, or accounting roleThorough understanding of accounting conceptsCritical thinking skills, with the ability to see the broader impacts on financial accounting and taxAbility to use knowledge and experience to recommend a course of actionProficient with Microsoft Excel, and experienced in working with various accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretionStrong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to manage internal and external relationshipsAny of the following would be considered an asset:A professional designationExperience working in a Professional Services environmentBilingual with the ability to speak and write in French and EnglishRewards and DiversityWith a focus on high-potential earnings, MNP offers customized rewards that support our unique culture and a balanced lifestyle.
