Recruitment Team Lead at LeverageTek Staffing Solutions LeverageTek is actively seeking a Payroll Analyst for a 14-month term with its Ottawa-based customer. Work Location Remote (Ottawa and Toronto) Key Tasks Execute end-to-end payroll test scripts in Workday based on provided documentation. Perform payroll transactions to validate system configurations. Document test results, including discrepancies and observations. Identify data quality or process issues during testing and report to senior SME/lead. Participate in Payroll Parallel Testing to compare new system results against legacy system. Collaborate with payroll team and QA specialists to ensure smooth testing execution. Key Qualifications Practical experience in payroll processing, ideally with exposure to Workday HCM or another HCM system. Ability to follow instructions and execute payroll test scripts independently with attention to detail. Strong documentation and reporting skills to capture test results and discrepancies accurately. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or college diploma/certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Payroll experience in an HR/Payroll team environment. Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision. Assets Previous experience in payroll parallel testing or Workday testing projects. Exposure to government payroll systems. National Payroll Institute certification is an asset.
