· Board Certified Pediatric MD/DO with at least 2 years of post-training experience that includes hospital work

Practice Highlights

· Pediatric Hospitalists provide in-house 24/7 coverage for Whatcom County's only community hospital, St. Joseph Medical Center (Level II Trauma)

· Scope of care includes Pediatric Unit, Newborn Nursery, Level II Special Care Nursery, delivery attendance, and ER support

· Recruiting to expand coverage with a second daytime hospitalist - shifts will include 12-hour day shifts, 12-hour night shifts, and 9-hour day shifts

· Physicians are experienced, collegial, supportive, and focused on high-quality, evidence-based medicine

· Robust primary care team, strong continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient

· Approved for a 0.8-1.0 FTE (the equivalent of 139 (.8 FTE), 156 (.9 FTE) or 173 (1.0 FTE) 12-hour shifts/year respectively)

Guaranteed first-year income (based on a 1.0 FTE): $251,264.00
