We are looking for a compassionate and caring Licensed Practical Nurse to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful assisted living and long term care facilities, Oyster Harbour Seniors Community. Location: 1127 4th Ave, Ladysmith, BC

Position Details:

1. Permanent Full time- Day Shift _4 days on- 2 days off; 7:00pm-3:00pm _

2. Permanent Full time- Evening Shift (2 vacancies) _4 days on- 2 days off; 3:00pm-11:00pm _

3. Permanent Full time- Day and Evening Shift _4 days on- 2 days off; 2 days of 7:00pm-3:00pm and 2 days of 3:00pm-11:00pm _

4. Permanent Full time- Night Shift _4 days on- 4days off; 23:00pm-7:00am _

Compensation: Starting at $31.89 per hour plus benefits after probation

Responsibilities Performs assessments. Plans, implements, and provides personal and nursing care to residents. Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures Directly supervises care staff to meet resident's needs. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program. Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC. Current CPR and First Aid certification. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Knowledge and background in Dementia care (preferred). Cultural education and experience are preferred The successful applicant for this job posting must provide satisfactory proof, or have such proof on file, that they have received the COVID-19 vaccination and any required COVID-19 booster vaccination. This requirement shall be waived if the applicant has not received the vaccination due to any legislated protected human rights grounds. In such a case, and upon presentation of sufficient proof, CareCorp shall make reasonable attempts to accommodate the applicant to carry out their role where possible recognizing that the health and safety of other employees and residents will be a priority.

Pay: $31.89 per hour
