Role and Responsibilities
As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Litigation Lawyer with at least 5 years of civil litigation experience to join our team. This role involves managing litigation files with the support of a Law Clerk or Paralegal, while benefiting from direct mentorship by senior lawyers. b>

  1. Oversee and manage a diverse caseload of litigation files from start to finish.
  2. Conduct comprehensive legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and other essential legal documents.
  3. Provide strategic and timely legal advice to clients, ensuring their best interests are represented.
  4. Collaborate with senior lawyers and team members on complex cases, contributing to strategic planning and business development.
  5. Stay informed about legal developments and changes in relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

  1. At least 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury or insurance defense.
  2. A member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
  3. Superior communication and English writing skills.

Assets:

  1. Significant experience in personal injury or insurance defense litigation is highly desirable.
  2. Knowledge of accident benefits and injury tort claims.
  3. Proficiency in French or other languages is considered a valuable asset.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $100,000.00 per year
