Located in Courtice, we proudly serve the Clarington and Durham Regions and surrounding areas. Role Description This is a contract role for an Optometrist, located on-site in Courtice, ON. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing and treating eye diseases, prescribing corrective lenses, and providing pre‑ and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries. The role also involves educating patients about eye health, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Qualifications Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution Expertise in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and diagnosing eye conditions Experience in prescribing corrective lenses and managing eye diseases Proficient in patient education and providing pre‑ and post‑operative care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain accurate patient records Licensed to practice optometry in Ontario Experience in the use of latest eye care technology is a plus Seniority Level Entry level Employment Type Contract Job Function Health Care Provider Industries Medical Practices #J-18808-Ljbffr
