Let’s grow together Maintenance Technician Department: Facilities and ConstructionLocation: GTA and Surrounding Areas, ONType of Employment: Permanent, Full Time Overview We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join our Central Canada Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will maintain store operations by conducting preventative maintenance on Frozen Beverage Equipment, repairing Convenience Store equipment, and performing general maintenance work in stores. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on Frozen Beverage units. Maintain equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance. Perform light electrical, plumbing, carpentry, roofing, cleaning, and lighting work. Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Examine records and reports to ensure cost‑effective repairs. Participate in training classes for existing and new equipment. Enforce program, operation policies, and procedures. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Attend workshops and reading professional publications to maintain knowledge. Ensure compliance with safety policies and federal, state, and local requirements. Majority of time will be spent in the field. May require some travel including overnight stays. Education High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience 3‑5 years’ experience in maintenance. 1‑2 years’ experience in C‑store preventive maintenance, food service repairs, plumbing or HVAC/refrigeration preferred. Knowledge and Skills Able to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple changing priorities and independent work. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and insurable as a driver. Highly organized, able to work under pressure and multi‑task effectively. Physical Demands Ability to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, and/or reach. Ability to carry, erect, and climb ladders.
