Position Overview We are seeking a talented Intermediate or Senior Engineer/Scientist to join our acoustics engineering group. This is an opportunity to play a key role in advancing innovative acoustics solutions, contributing to projects from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Conduct engineering acoustic assessments and prepare technical reports, including transportation or stationary equipment noise studies, building acoustics (architectural and mechanical systems), and room acoustics evaluations. Perform field measurements, data collection, and analysis. Communicate directly with clients under the direction of a project manager or supervisor. Apply expertise in acoustics, noise, and vibration science to both project delivery and research. Stay current with relevant regulations, guidelines, and building codes. Collaborate with team members and contribute to maintaining Gradient Wind's reputation for excellence. Skills & Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Acoustics) or Architecture. Experience: Minimum 5+ years in acoustics or related engineering field. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Word, and Excel. Ability to interpret and work with architectural and mechanical drawings. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and problem‑solving skills. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Able to work both independently and within a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. Comfortable with modest physical work related to field studies. Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
