Position Summary We are seeking someone who is passionate about rural medicine and outdoor adventure. If you're looking to spend less time commuting and more time by the ocean, our General Surgery opportunity might be for you. Joining as the second General Surgeon in Prince Rupert, you would be part of a regional call group serving the Northwest health service delivery area. The call would be 1:5 or 1:6. The General Surgery office is located within the Prince Rupert Regional Hospital. Overhead is minimal (MOA salary and EMR). You would have 2 OR slates per week. Join an incredibly supportive group of family physicians and specialists caring for the diverse population of Prince Rupert and the surrounding villages. This a unique opportunity to create the Surgery practice and achieve a work-life balance in a beautiful, coastal city.
