Faroex is seeking a

Mechanical, Industrial or Process Technologist , who will be responsible for carrying out design, development, continuous improvement, and maintenance/repair projects. This position provides a diverse range of duties related to production troubleshooting, equipment & tooling design, facility & equipment upgrades, and process development & refinement. Other duties may include hands-on work focused on new product & process development.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications : A Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering Technology from an accredited University or College. Eligible for registration with CTTAM as a Technologist. Experience related to tooling, equipment, product, or process design. A hands-on individual capable of providing innovative and practical solutions to problems. Proficient in design using Solid modeling software (preferably Solid Edge or Solid Works). Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, manufacturing, and assembly processes. Continuous improvement driven attitude. Strong verbal and written communication skills (in English) and the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and various personnel throughout the organization. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). Strong organization and time management skills and the ability to effectively carry out multiple projects. Composites or plastics manufacturing experience a definite asset. Lean manufacturing experience an asset. Process automation, PLC's, and hands-on machining & fabricating a definite asset.
