Serving as a one-window gateway to Ontario, Invest Ontario was established to streamline the journey helping investors navigate government programmes, find the right sites for their projects, and provide access to funding through the Invest Ontario Fund. The Chief Executive Officer will, with the support of a dedicated team, meet the unique needs of high value investors through the identification and cultivation of potential investors or investments, the provision of executive investor services, the development of investment strategies that include sector-specific strategies, and the provision of customized services to assist investors. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO is accountable for the overall management and administration of the affairs of Invest Ontario, providing leadership to the securing of high-value domestic and global business investments that further the government’s economic development priorities. With a focus on the advanced manufacturing, life sciences and technology sectors, the CEO will work closely with domestic and international partners looking to establish or expand operations in Ontario.

The ideal candidate is adept at navigating both the private and public sectors, seamlessly engaging with a wide range of stakeholders through a strong external presence while bringing a passion to create meaningful jobs, drive long-term economic growth, and make Ontario more competitive on the global stage.
