Closing Date: Until suitable candidate is foundStart Date: November 1, 2025Connect Society’s Early Childhood Services Program requires a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech assessments, consultation and intervention with preschool children aged 2½ – 6. Most of our children have speech and language delays related to hearing loss. We also accept hearing children of Deaf parents. The program focuses on child development with an emphasis on language acquisition. Programming is play-based and family-focused, requiring a high level of teamwork within an interdisciplinary team. Our Speech Language Pathologist(s) work in collaboration with our American Sign Language (ASL) Specialist. It is not a prerequisite to know American Sign Language before being hired, but it is a requirement for the SLP to acquire this language skill once hired with the agency, American Sign Language training will be provided for the hired candidate.QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology;The successful applicant must be registered or eligible to be registered with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA);Current CPR and First Aid; andClear Criminal Record and InterventionAmerican Sign Language (qualified candidates without American Sign Language will be considered with the expectation that they will gain competency);Hours32 hours per week Monday through Thursday, 8:30am – 3:30pm and Friday 8:30am-12:30pmCompensation• Based on education and experience ($43.38-$47.85)• Incredible work environment – cooperative, fun, inclusive, & inspiring; #J-18808-Ljbffr
