Responsabilités principalesGestion de l'équipe :Superviser et diriger une équipe de techniciens en carrosserie, peintres, estimateurs et personnel administratifFournir des conseils, de la formation et du soutien aux employés pour qu'ils accomplissent efficacement leurs tâchesFavoriser un environnement de travail positif et collaboratif qui encourage le travail d'équipe et le développement professionnelGestion du flux de travail :Coordonner et planifier les réparations pour optimiser le flux de travail et garantir l'achèvement des réparations dans les délaisAllouer les ressources, y compris le personnel, l'équipement et les matériaux, en fonction de la charge de travail et des prioritésSuivre l'avancement des réparations et résoudre tout retard ou problème pour garder les projets sur la bonne voieContrôle de la qualité :Mettre en place et appliquer des procédures de contrôle qualité pour que toutes les réparations respectent les normes de l'industrie et les attentes des clientsEffectuer des inspections régulières des réparations terminées pour vérifier la qualité et corriger toute lacuneTravailler en étroite collaboration avec les techniciens pour résoudre les problèmes techniques et donner des conseils sur les meilleures pratiquesService client :Interagir avec les clients pour comprendre leurs besoins, fournir des estimations précises et répondre à leurs questionsMaintenir une communication ouverte avec les clients pendant le processus de réparation, les informer de l'avancement et de tout changementGérer les plaintes des clients de façon professionnelle et rapide pour atteindre un haut niveau de satisfactionGestion des stocks et des approvisionnements :Gérer les stocks de pièces, matériaux et fournitures nécessaires aux réparationsÉtablir des relations avec les fournisseurs et négocier les prix pour obtenir des achats rentablesSurveiller les niveaux de stock et passer des commandes au besoin pour éviter toute ruptureSécurité et conformité :Faire respecter les protocoles de sécurité et s'assurer que tout le personnel suit les réglementations et les meilleures pratiquesSe tenir informé des tendances du secteur, des règlements et des avancées en techniques et équipements de carrosserieVeiller à ce que le centre de collision respecte toutes les normes environnementales, de santé et de sécurité en vigueurGestion financière :Suivre les performances financières et mettre en place des mesures de contrôle des coûts pour optimiser la rentabilitéAnalyser les rapports financiers et les indicateurs clés pour identifier les améliorations possibles et mettre en œuvre des stratégies pour accroître l'efficacité et les revenusAssister aux processus de paieOverview / AperçuThe Autobody Shop Manager for a collision center is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the autobody repair process within the collision center. This role requires a combination of technical expertise in autobody repair, managerial skills, and customer service acumen. The manager ensures that repairs are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction levels.Salary is dependant on experienceKey ResponsibilitiesTeam Management:Supervise and lead a team of autobody technicians, painters, estimators, and administrative staffProvide guidance, training, and support to staff members to ensure they perform their duties effectivelyFoster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growthWork Flow ManagementCoordinate and schedule repair jobs to optimize workflow and ensure timely completion of repairsAllocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, based on workload and prioritiesMonitor progress on repair jobs and address any delays or issues that may arise to keep projects on trackQuality Control:Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all repairs meet industry standards and customer expectationsConduct regular inspections of completed repairs to verify quality and identify any deficiencies that need to be addressedWork closely with technicians to resolve technical challenges and provide guidance on best practicesCustomer Service:Interact with customers to understand their repair needs, provide accurate estimates, and address any concerns or questions they may haveMaintain open lines of communication with customers throughout the repair process, keeping them informed of progress and any changes to the timeline or scope of workHandle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner, striving to achieve high levels of customer satisfactionInventory and Supply Management:Manage inventory levels of parts, materials, and supplies necessary for autobody repairsEstablish relationships with suppliers and negotiate pricing agreements to ensure cost-effective procurement of materialsMonitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent disruptions to workflowSafety and Compliance:Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all staff members adhere to safety regulations and best practicesStay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in autobody repair techniques and equipmentEnsure that the collision center operates in compliance with relevant environmental, health, and safety standardsFinancial Management:Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to optimize profitabilityAnalyze financial reports and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and revenueExigences / QualificationsExigencesExpérience préalable en réparation de carrosserie, de préférence dans un rôle de gestion ou de supervisionSolide connaissance technique des techniques, matériaux et équipements de carrosserieExcellentes compétences en leadership et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de motiver et inspirer une équipeSens du service client supérieur, axé sur la création de relations positives et la satisfaction des clientsMaîtrise des systèmes d'estimation informatisés et autres logiciels pertinentsBonnes compétences organisationnelles et en résolution de problèmes, avec une attention aux détailsConnaissance des réglementations et normes de sécurité dans le domaine de la carrosserieCapacité à gérer plusieurs tâches et à les prioriser dans un environnement dynamiqueQualificationsPrevious experience in autobody repair, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role within a collision centerStrong technical knowledge of autobody repair techniques, materials, and equipmentExcellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team membersSuperior customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships and exceeding customer expectationsProficiency in computerized estimating systems and other relevant software applicationsStrong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detailKnowledge of industry regulations and safety standards related to autobody repairAbility to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environmentSalary is dependant on experienceBénéficesHealth and Dental BenefitsRRSP match program #J-18808-Ljbffr
